Senseless killing of three young Musllims in NC

The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro mourns the senseless killing of three young Muslim students (Deah Barakat (23), his wife,Yusor Abu-Salha (21) and her sister, Razan Abu-Salha (19)) at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill yesterday.   We extend our most sincere condolences and prayers to the families of the victims and ask Allah (swt) to shower them with His mercy.

The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro urges the community at large to serve as advocates for love and compassion not hatred and bigotry.    

We call upon law enforcement to investigate these tragic killings and hold those responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
