The Rutherford County Regional Planning Commission will consider site plans this morning for a proposed new mosque for the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro.
The Islamic Center plans to build a 52,000-square-foot building on a 15-acre site at the corner of Veals Road and Bradyville Pike.
A site plan for a proposed storage facility on Jefferson Pike will also be reviewed this morning.
The planning commission will also, in a work session, begin reviewing possible changes to its sign regulations, which have not been updated since the mid-1980s.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the planning commission's offices on the Public Square in Murfreesboro.
