What are these seminars?

These seminars are intended to spread knowledge about Islam and Muslims in our Murfreesboro community, and help clear misconceptions about Islam via free educational seminars.

The ultimate goal is to improve diversity in Murfreesboro via knowledge and respect of one another, and create a healthy diverse community for everyone to live in.

When and Where will they take place?

Each seminar is one day only and the three days open right now are:

  1. Saturday May 1st from 4 to 7 pm.
  2. Saturday May 15th from 4 to 7 pm. ""CLOSED""
  3. Saturday May 29th from 4 to 7 pm. ""CLOSED""

The seminar will take place at The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro 862 Middle Tennessee Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37129

Who much does it cost, and who can attend?

The seminars are free but require pre registration.

Anyone can register to attend.

What is in the seminars?

Each seminar is three hours long, and will be presented by Ossama Bahloul who is a national scholar & a prominent Islamic figure in Middle Tennessee, followed by refreshments then Questions and Answers session.

Main topics will include:

  • Concept of God.
  • What is the Quran and what does it teach?
  • Islamic views of other religions.
  • Terrorism and Islam.
  • Who is Muhammad?
  • Questions and Answers.

There will be flyers and brochures available for take home for the attendees.
