Dr. Ossama Bahloul, the Imam of The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro in Tennessee since 2008, is a graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo Egypt. Dr. Bahloul is a renowned and internationally recognized scholar in the Foundations of Islam. He has participated in numerous activity related to interfaith issues, and has appeared as a guest on numerous news outlets. A native Egyptian and self-proclaimed Texan, Dr. Bahloul has also served as the religious leader of the Islamic Center of Irving, and The Islamic Society of Southern Texas. As a family man, Ossama has been happily married to Ivey for the past ten years, and is the proud father of three children. In his “spare” time, Ossama enjoys taking long walks with his family, working on his yard, is an avid saltwater fisherman, and enjoy horseback riding.
